For over two decades, she has been part of QPharma. With experience from several parts of the organization and a passion for quality, she is now one of the key people within QA/QC, and one of those who ensure that our pharmaceuticals meet the highest possible standards. Meet Annelie Fasth – Senior Quality Specialist at QPharma.
“I joined QPharma back in 2001 and since 2022, I have been working as a Senior Quality Specialist within QA/QC,” Annelie says.
Broad experience across several roles
Over the years, Annelie has held several different roles within the company. She started as a Product Specialist with an analytical focus and later moved into Analytical Development, where she worked with projects, development tasks and new analytical methods. She then took on the role of Project Manager, focusing on development projects and packaging, and also served as Team Lead within Analytical Development.
“In short, I have worked with pharmaceuticals throughout my entire professional life and have built up broad and in-depth experience in quality, analysis and development work,” she continues.
What does a typical workday look like?
“The truth is – there are no typical days, and that is exactly what I like! I always start with a plan, but it often changes when something unexpected comes up. A workday can include reviewing documents, supporting colleagues in quality matters, continuous improvements, engaging in new and ongoing projects, training employees, working in the QA/QC management team, and participating in both internal and external audits. The variety makes the job enjoyable, and being able to support the organization where I am needed most is an important part of my role,” Annelie summarizes.
A meaningful job
In Annelie’s line of work, both challenges and opportunities relate to technical development and enhancement of supporting tools. But the greatest opportunity is to contribute to the quality level of our products. At QPharma, employees spend a lot of time in quality training to ensure that quality is maintained and improved.
So why is it still fun to work here?
“The first thing I think of is the colleagues. We have a strong team spirit within QA/QC, and in the entire company. There are also great opportunities for development, both individually and as a team. And then, of course, our unique products play a crucial role for patients worldwide, and that truly makes the work feel important,” Annelie concludes.
Like Annelie, we are all proud of working here at QPharma!
